How do i set up a d-link wireless router?

Question

i set it up its just i cant get my laptop to connect to the network? like the network will appear but than it will go away before i can connect to it or it will disconnect !? what do i do?

The initial setup has to be hard wired.After you are done and restart the router you can pull the cable and have it wireless.

when setting up router did you display ssid? where is the router? anything interfering with the signal?

Assuming u have the modem connected to the router and router to the PC or Laptop already

1st) First Open> Explorer,Firefox,Safari,Opera which

ever one u got

2nd) type in the address bar 192.168.0.1

3rd) user name should be admin and no password just press login button

4th) locate  "setup" tab then click on "wireless settings" on ur left pane

5th) use manual or the wizard to guide you through the rest of the process

This is if you have a Dlink router... i have the draft N router for my home and interfaces is pretty user friendly
