How do i set up an internet connection in my room (read details)

alrite so apparently i didnt explain this well enough before the wall was closed up when it was just a frame i put ethernet wires from my bedroom going to my moms bedroom the the internet box or surfboard is located in her room, ok so the wire is in my room sumwhere inside the walls it runs through the ceilings into my moms bedroom OK SO WHAT DO I DO TO CONNECT IT LIKE DRILL A HOLE IN THE WALL AND GET AN ETHERNT PLUG COVER THING OK WHAT DO I DO THATS ALL I WANT TO KNOW

Is the wireing all in place already?  Assuming it is, you either need a eithernet jack and faceplate (they usually come with wireing directions) or you need to connect from the jacks on the wall to your computer and the router in their respective rooms.

If the wireing isn't in place, I'd suggest you go wireless - much easier than running wires through wallboard that's already up.

Either way, if you don't already have a router, you need to get one to share the single modem to multiple computers.
