How do i set up xbox live if my router only has one ethernet port that is already being used?

Get a wireless adapter for your Xbox 360. They cost around $100. Get a wireless router for your 360 and you won't have to use any ports.

You shouldn’t go wireless, especially if you plan to play online with others.  Buy a new router (a linksys or netgear) that has 4 to 8 wired Ethernet ports.

That should take care of the problem.

Many routers DO have only one port. You simply need a network switch connected to it, then connect all your machines to the switch.

If your router only has one port then it is either a hub or an access point. Get a router. Preferrably wireless if you are using a 360. Then you get the adapter for the 360 and don't worry about ports.
