How do i share files between my computer and my friends computer

i want to share music, videos, pictures onto my friends computer. is there like a software that allows me to connect to his computer and share my files

for the odd photo, work fiel etc me n my mates jsut do it on Live messneger, you can either set up a sharing folder, or diectly send it to them. ( on the icon wiht a folder)

other than that either email, or use a USB drive.

If you want to share videos and pictures, the files will be huge and take a bit of time to transfer.  In fact, some files might be bigger than what the ISP will allow you to transfer.  

Easiest way is to get a flash drive or better yet an external hard drive and put your files on that.
