I am sure there are many major shipping companies in the USA, but as the above answer has said, it will cost you a lot.

However, i must warn you that i heard some stories when i lived in Luxor about people who had big problems doing just that. One tells of a man who shipped out his sports car & the Luxor customs people would never release it to him. Another tells of massive import taxes being charged for release of a car.

Now, i have to tell you that i believe the stories, because when i moved out there from England, i imported my household goods by sea; Egyptian customs decided to charge me 12,000 LE (£1,000 approx) because they said i had too many nice things !

Oh yes, & they confiscated 11 x CD's, & 6 x Videos.

Then there was the missing goods, 1 x camera, 1 x quilt, some cooking pots,..........................the list goes on.

Now lets not forget the damages as well, broken crystal, broken CDs ........................i give up, it made me so upset at the time. It spoilt my arrival to a land i love, the man i love, & some wonderful Egyptian people.

I am not the only person this has happened to, i know others personally who have had similar problems.

My best advice is to leave the car at home & get a car when you get there.
