  1. Before you do that, consider what they would go through in shipment.

Planes make loud screeching noises, and dogs can hear 20x better than you can.  Add to that the fact that they are puppies, and you would be terrorizing a buinch of small, already timid babies.

      Really, not a good idea.

Plus, I cannot fathom why it would even be necessary.  They have Chihuahuas in the UK already.

Why not leave these to be happy, healthy well adjusted little pets in the US, and get some British Chihuahuas over there.  It's just so unnecessary, and not humane.

  2. by air is your best bet much less stressful for them but don't forget to get all there vaccinations done and get them chipped that is the law now

  3. You can't ship young puppies. In reality, they have to be around 9 months old to have had their rabies jabs & blood tests, unless you are willing to put them through 6 months quarantine.

This gives all the information you need.

  4. I rather you fly the the chihuahua than ship them. If you ship them by boat they might get sick and end up dying.

  5. Seriously!!  Can't believe some of these replies.  Since the abolition of quarantine, for dogs coming in from most countries that is, over here, in effect the quarantine period is now done in the country of origin, ie with you.  You need to work with the people who are having these puppies (4 of them?) who should be able to find out from this end what you need to be doing.  Also I think the airlines will be able to advise you about what paperwork they need to see before accepting them for shipping (I think that's right)  It takes at least 6 months, because you have to take into account you won't be able to get the rabies shots in until the puppies are 4 months (as I recall from my time in Canada).  Suggest you get your buyers here to contact DEFRA to be sure - or go online to the DEFRA site - it's probably all there.

I'm assuming you are sending these puppies over here to somebody who wants to import 'new' bloodlines?  Otherwise the poster who suggests we have 'enough' Chihs here already may have a point!!

  6. don't, that's sick to ship animals

  7. fly them i got my puppy from england to the U.S. by plane

  8. they are only little things. first class post should do it, but use plenty of bubble-wrap. dont want them to get damaged when they are shoved through your letter-box, do you

  9. take them by plane fly with them it costs alot but if u realli luv them
