How do i show people i've moved on??!?

well before school ended for da summer my best friend changed a lot nd we ended up drifting apart really badly, she started a huge fight between me nd al my other friends, she wrecked my confidence nd i felt so insecure all the time, teachers in the school noticed and forced me to tlk to dem bout my upset even though i wasnt ready yet to tlk to sumone nd den da school counsellor got involved too, den ovr the summer i met a new friend, a great person who helped me rebuild my confidence nd i didnt feel as worthless as b4 as she is always dere for me nd i was able to tlk to her bout anyting. i met my old friends the other day and den hav dere own private jokes etc. trying to make me left out but i dont care anymore, i want to move on and show them i dont need them anymore nd life is much better with my new friend. How do i fully convince them dat im ovr dem nd how do i show da teachers my mental health has improved alot?!!!!!!!!!!!! thanks for ur help if u can!!!!x

    You have already made the first step, but you got stuck on the tracks. Listen to me, if you have indeed moved on, stop trying to make them jealous or even prove a point. Moving on means exactly what it sounds like...MOVING ON. keep it moving, as you walk by them with you new friend( dont be a b******e, and plz dont hold grudges, they are very stupid) smile, wave or something just to be polite and keep on going. You dont have to sit and have a 45 minute conversation with them, just kill them with kindess. You are a better person, and although at your age it may not feel like the right thing to do, i assure you that it is the smartest thing to do. If you completely let go of something, but it runs through your mind when you see that person, or better yet, you go out of your way to prove them wrong, have you really and truthfully gotten over that person? think about this, if you are happy now, why worrie about convincing others that you have let it go...your actions will say all the words that you are on here looking for...i have faith in you young grasshopper, so go out there and make DR. LUV, yourself and your new friend very proud...(I should be getting paid for this s***)


  2. Jus tell her. Say this: Yeah we really have drifted apart alot and i hink it is time we both just move on. I'm already gonna find some new friends and so should you  [if you didnt make any friends just sayit. pretend is me lol.]

  3. U dont need to show anything, if u have really moved on, everyone will automatically understand from the way u behave, just be yourself and dont be scared or over careful.  

  4. You could prove to them that you moved on by cutting contact with them. Your best bet is to steer clear of them anyhow because friends shouldnt make you feel like that. You have a great friend now and theres plenty more where that came from. This up coming school year you can work on making new friends and keeping your distance from the others.

  5. stop talking to them all together, hangout with your other friends and your new close friend. if their trying to make you feel left out,their not real friends. if you hangout with your other friends though,it will show that youve moved on from being so close to them and now you are busy thinking about your new friends..good luck! and dont stress over this or worry.. its not a big deal. it may seem big but i know you can overcome it.

  6. she should be ashamed of her self for recking your health and confidende. my family always say to me, everything comes back to haunt yoou. so when shes older she'll look back in regret about doing this to u. 1) you dont need to prove yourself to her 2)get some friends that you can trust.

  7. hmm your friend sounds as if she is a total *****. your old friend. and i dunno just dont break down in front of people and if old friends try to do that just turn and walk the other way. set dem b*****s straight!
