How do i sign into ancestry Uk through my local library?

I have the 2006 version, and when i search for records through family tree maker, can see people, but they are all locked. I have a subscription to Ancestry UK for the UK. I can view the records online, from a link in family tree maker, but cannot view them in the actualprogram itself.
