  1. bend your knees and go on your toeside edge, then for a nano-second on the face of the board, then back to the heel edge...or vice versa, and you keep on doing this till you get down of the hill.

top on toeside or heelside byt putting pressure on your toes for toeside, or lifting up your toes for heelside

    no difference in clothing

    have fun!

  2. Turn, you shift your body weight to the foot nearest to where you want to go to...or, switch which way your lead foot is going. To stop, you 'put your feet like you are regularly standing' while digging in your heels a little bit. Clothing, doesn't matter. Snowboarders don't care as long as you can chill. TIPS, have fun. Oh, and skiiers will cut you off.

  3. Take some lessons.  Most resorts offer a discovery package.  Anyone who thinks they can teach you on-line is kidding themselves.  You need some real human contact and feedback to learn properly.

  4. Go to your nearest slope and take a lesson or two. They will be able to give you more advice and instruction and personalize it for you to give you the best experience. Snowboarding is not something you can learn yourself or by reading about it. But tips always will help. You learn new things everyday. But this is something that is best taught to you in person one on one or with a small group of beginners like yourself.

  5. Thats good!
