  1. 13+9w=w-15

    Subtract w.

    13+8w=-15

    Subtract 13.

    8w=-28

    Divide by 4.

    2w=-7

    Divide by 2.

    w=-7/2

    Peace

  2. 13+9w=w-15

    13-13+9w-w=w-w-15-13

    8w=-28

    w=-28/8

    w=-3 4/8=-3 1/2

  3. put numbers on one side and terms of w on the other( note: when changing side the signs change too )

    9w-w=-15-13

    8w=-28

    w=-28/8

    w=-3.5

    hope this helps:):)

  4. 13 + 9w = w - 15 (subtract w from both sides)

    13 + 9w - w = w - 15 - w

    13 + 8w = -15 (subtract 13 from both sides)

    13 + 8w - 13 = -15 - 13

    8w = -28 (divide both sides by 8)

    w = -28/8 (simplify fraction)

    w = -7/2 <===ANSWER

    The goal is to isolate the variable on one side of the equation. To do this, do the opposite operation of what is being applied. In other words, when there is addition, subtract it from both sides, and when there is multiplication, divide it on both sides in order to cancel it, and vice versa.

  5. 13+9w=w-15

    bring the values of similar pattern to one side. When you move it across sides the sign will change from + to negative,

    So 13+ 15 = w - 9w

    28 = -8w

    - 28/8 = w

    W = -3.5
