How do i solve a boxlight 2020 projector not showing video, but does play sound?

it is plugged in, with all the correct leads in place but does not show video on the screen. it does play sound however. this boxlight 2020 is a projector that is no longer on retail and have found it hard to find answers of what i should do?.

Do you see anything on the screen ?

1- you see a blank rectangle : your device most likely needs to be serviced , the motherboard is damaged.

2- you see a blue screen (or other colors than white) and with things like "No video" or so written :

    - you didn't choose the right video source in your menu.

    - the video cable is damaged, needs to be replaced.

3- you see nothing at all in the screen:

    a- the lamp is burnt and need to be replaced.

    b- the lamp fuses are burnt and need to be replaced.
