  1. x ≤ 5 is your inequality

    To graph it, just plot it as if it was x = 5. Since it's ≤, the line cannot be dotted, it's a normal line. However, if you had < or >, your line would have to be dotted.


  2. x is less than or equal to 5 is already solved.  x can be any value along the interval.

    To graph, draw a number line, place a solid dot at 5 and then draw a ray (a line with an arrow on it) pointing to the left.
