  1. He has not got a hope; what a pathetic excuse for leaving you and your new baby. how did he think you coped?

Hang in there honey; you will grow strong in the love you give to your son...you do not need this waster.

  2. He won't get custody. You will. He may get visitation but you are his mother and a baby so young will stay with its mother

  3. I really would try not to worry too much. As long as you are providing a loving, stable home to your child then your ex has very little to no chance of gaining full residential custody. He can ask but a judge will almost always rule in favour of the mother providing there are no child protection issues. You're also the residential parent in that your child does and always has lived with you with is another plus point. i'd go and have a chat with a family law solicitor, most offer a free half hour consultation, and they will be able to advise you further and hopefully put your mind at rest.

  4. Let me get this straight, he wants custody of a child that he left because he didn't know what to do when the child cried? You will be better off without him and you have nothing to worry about.

  5. Honey, no judge in their right mind will give a father custody of a child without good, sound proof that the mother is unfit.  You have nothing to worry about.  His abandoning the two of you will also go against him.  The judge will ask why he thinks he's capable of knowing what to do when the baby cries NOW and wasn't capable of knowing the first 2 times he abandoned the baby.

Besides, you'll find out that most men are full of hot air!  To get the monkey off their back, they'll attack you.  Keep doing what you're doing...be a good mother and be there for that precious little angel and let the moron spit in the wind.  As I said, it's going to take a lot of doing to take an infant away from their mother.

God's blessings on you and yours...Always!

  6. You have nothing to worry about.  No judge will give custody to a man who walks out because the child is crying.  Just make sure you get a lawyer.

  7. get a good lawyer and things will be okay... no judge in their right mind would give him custody if he walked cos your son cried!! what does a grown man expect a baby to do???... you are so better off without him!!

  8. usually a judge will give custody to the mother, especially at such a young age unless he was in danger in ur care, im assuming hes not in harms way in ur care so u will get custody with the father having parental resonsibilitys, such as financial and having ur son a certain amount of hours per week

  9. You have nothing to worry about. As long as you aren't on any drugs and can provide a good home & can provide financially for him. They almost always rule in the mother's favor. Good Luck & Congrats!!

  10. get a good lawyer to make sure he doesn't get custody, him leaving cause the child is crying? What is he gonna do if he has custody? Leave the child alone while he goes for a walk?

Pray. Stay strong. You can get custody, and raise your son with lots of love.

  11. you are in a horrible situation, please don't worry it would be really unusual for the judgement to go against you. Good job your son has one sensible parent. Good luck, this too will pass.
