How do i start a band?

i can only play violin but wanna learn guitar also and i only know 1 kid who plays an instrument the cello. i want to use garage band once i get my 1st mac. i love music!!!! my other friends do to. what do i do. my mom also treats things like these are cute little kid things!

be dedicated.get friends together who share your love for music. start working on music && lyrics. practice,practice, practice!.let your mom know you really want this && its not just some cute little phase.

With a violin and cello, sounds more like you are starting a string trio/quartet than a band.  First step, learn guitar first, and either take music theory or find someone who can write music to help you write songs.
