How do i start a cheerleading squad At School?

Question

I wanted to start a cheerleading squad at school were in the uk so there arnt many around in london (that i know of) i was wondering what do i need to start, how do i advertise, uniform special tings to look in for in a tryout im flexiable jumping and stuff but never been in a cheerleading squad my slef what age shoud it be (im 13) loaads of stuff please please help as i should get stated because school starts next week thursday.

you odn&#039;t have to start one at your schoool.

in the uk, there are cheerelading groups which you can join and learn new moves in.

if you were desperate for a school squad, i guess you&#039;ll have to ask a teacher first, because you&#039;ll need to borrow the gym for practice

ask your pe teacher if you could start a club. if you don&#039;t know much about cheerleading i&#039;d phone a cheerleading squad and ask if a couple of older girls could come and do a cheerleading workshop one lunchtime or after school. make posters on your computer then put them around the school make it a specific group 1st to 3rd year or 11-13 yr olds. your pe teacher will probaly be glad to help you contact some1 and start a club. i took two dance clubs at my school when i was 16 and we went to 3 competitions a year. there will be dance competitions around the school in your area and if not your teacher can help you invite other school squads for a competition.
