How do i start a sorority?

i go to webster university and they dont have any sorority but i think 1 frat. how do i start one? i dont want a worldwide chapter....too complicating. what else do i do now? thanks

you actually can start a sorority, but its not easy.

Basically, talk to the Student Life/Organization office about the possibility to start a local sorority.  If the office says you can, get interest started.  Hold informational meetings, get input on a motto, colors, letters ect.

You can't start a sorority... Sororitys have been around for 100's of years. But you can start a chapter in one I believe.
