How do i start an 8th grade expectation letter??

i have to write an expectation letter and dont know what i expect so there for dont know what to write

What are they expecting you to expect? You are in the 8th Grade, what's the worst that can happen? (I hope this does not come back to bite me later!) Or are you writing on behalf of someone in Grade 8?

Eitherway, I've never heard of such a thing. If you gave some detail of what it is perhaps others may be able to help you as the principles of most letters are the same.
