  1. FIRST thing you do is get CPR certified and take a basic first aid class.

Then, just start telling as many people as you know that you do babysitting and you'll get a job or two. Keep pushing and pushing until you get that first job. That's the HARDEST one to get, but once you get it and prove you do a good job, you can use them as reference and then you'll have all the jobs you'd ever want.

I babysitted A LOT in high school. Even though I was a guy, I had good references and I'd make $30 - $40 for about 20 minutes of real work and 4 hours of watching TV while my friends made $4/hr. bagging groceries.

  2. you should start out by babysitting a relative or a neighbor.  do that a few times and get references from them.  then post flyers of babysitting.  the problem though would be that you're a little young, like if you needed a ride to the place you would babysit.  so try doing it in the neighborhood.  meet your neighbors more, be friendlier and casually tell them that you are babysitting so if they ever need a sitter u have good references.  i would make a resume as well, its professional.  basically for that, keep it to a page.  write a few sentences about yourself.  all the work you've done; jobs, community service, etc.  what are your ambitions for school, qualifications relating to kids anything like you have taken care of your siblings before, you like kids, etc.

  3. just ask people put up flyers and ask for 3 bucks an hour it depends on how long your babysitting

    1-2 hours probably get $6.00

3-4 hours should get 9-14 dollars

5-6 hours should get 15-20 dollars

7-8 hours should get 21-28 dollars

all nighters should get 29-34 dollars

    hope this helpz

  4. eh...usually it starts with uncles or aunts and then you move to their neighbors thats what my sisters did.  My sister use to make like 400 an week.  Dint expect that though if you live in a middle class area.  Id ask for 8-10 an hr.  Good luck

  5. Make posters saying that you are now babysitting and put your cell number so they can call you if they need a babysitter and hang them up around your neiborhood. When some one calls ask for the children's name and age. For you know there name and there age for it is more easier to know what to bring. Then when you finally get a job ask your parents or plan out how much you should charge for each hour. (Usually if you babysit well they pay you more they you offered.) And bring a bag and pack stuff like crayons, coloring books, snacks, toys and books. If you don't have any of these buy like two of each.
