How do i start my air compressor???

i have a 60 gallon 230 v air compressor...can anyone give my instruction to get it started??

230v? usually a free standing compressor is 220v. you will need a 220v 30amp(or larger) breaker to a dedicated outlet, and then plug it in. the owner's manual for the unit will tell you what amperage is needed, or it will be printed on the tank itself.

that's different. it would be hardwired directly from the breaker into the power input panel in the compressor. check the owner's manual for directions, sometimes an actual wired plug can be connected to the compressor and plugged into an outlet. if you got it used and don't have the manual, try the website for the mfg for downloadable manual.
