How do i start my own social networking site? I bough the domain and now i dont know where to start?

So far I have bought a domain from go daddy for the name of the site. Is there a resource available in which one can use almost as a template based system or a site, where i can send my domain over to be hosted. Im lost and need some real guidance from an experieced webmaster. Thanks

If you don't have any experience in web development, you would have to hire someone to make one for you.

They typically charge $250-$2000 depending on how extensive you want to make your site.

Hi, you can keep your domain name at Godaddy and get your host from elsewhere pretty easy all you gotta do is change the dns settings, if you are looking to build a small community I would say you can use a content management system such as Joomla to do the job, its free and very flexible. I have a Joomla powered community (although its very new) @ http://ukgarage.tv
