Either rent some server space and use software like Wordpress to have your real own blog, or simply use other websites that allow you to create a blog (like 360.yahoo.com, blogger.com etc). You also might like microblogs, like twitter (see sources).

If you're interested in starting your own blog and have little to no experience, I would go with one of the free blogger sites out there. They offer a nice simple user interface, but also offer advance customization options as well.
