  1. First off, practice as much as you can, read plays out loud, get your hands on some good acting books...Letters to a Young Actor by Robert Brustein is very good. If you are really serious, go to an acting school that focuses on theatre. You can always reduce your performance for film but it is much harder to increase it and learn blocking for theatre and actors who have their roots in theatre are always better.

Go to as many auditions as you can and keep an eye out for film crews that might be in your area. I live in a small town and have been an extra in 2 movies and a stand in just because I paid attention. I was on set for several days and you can learn a heck of alot just by being around it.

Most importantly, get a job that pays enough so that you don't need to worry about money while you are pursuing your acting career, that way you can keep at it without starving to death. I would go to school 1st. That shows casting directors you're serious and will help you develop your talent.

  2. go to actinginfo.blogspot.com and talentagents.blogspot.com for any info u neeed for agenns go to the talent site click table of contents and click city nearest u n search around and u will learn alot but always remember a real agency is free they only get 10-20% of ur income!

  3. google it they always have some but you might have to travel

  4. I'm not sure about that field, but I do know this much; you have to research any and every acting gig out there and go for it   Even Halle Berry had to start somewhere, right.Good Luck.

  5. To start off, do a couple things.

Taking classes is a good start.

Also, get involved in your school (or community) theater productions. That is, if you already haven't.

This way, when you make up your resume, you have tons of experience under your belt.

Look online/in the newspaper for casting calls for commercials once you feel comfortable.

    Good Luck :D

    Hope it helps.

  6. well first start drama classes if you have never acted before. If you dont want to do that, or if you are alread doing that, find an agent. just search in the newspapers and on the internet. Your agent can guide you froim there.
