How do i start swimming?

i am 12 and am thinking about getting started in swimming. i have a large inground pool in my backyard and can already swim at a okay speed. but fall is coming up soon and i won't be able to use my pool.

do you have any suggestions on getting started?

Well first you put on your bathing suit then jump in the water then you start kicking your legs and moving your arms

go to ur local YMCA and ask the front desk about their swim team

Check out your local indoor swim center for swim team options and contact the swim coach.

If you're interested in competitive program (swim team) nothing beats having a professional coach to instruct and train you and an organized team to help motivate you. Plus it's always more enjoyable to do this with your friends. (If you don't know your teammates yet you will)
