How do i start xp with the disk so i can install my sound drives?

the disk is in but it wont start with the disk lol

  1. you dont boot off of the disk to install sound drivers.  you just need to install the drivers as if your were installing any other program.

    booting of the disk is strictly for recovery, reformatting, or clean installs
