  1. what I do is this, I just do my hard subjects first, and each time I get a couple subjects done, I'll get something to eat, or, I check my e-mail to see if my best freind e-mailed me!!! I have little rewards for myself!!! and you just dicipline yourself to saying "I'm going to get this done and over with" once you've finiched for the day for a couple days in a row, you finally get the hang of it, then, you give yourself a little more work than usual to catch up! well, good luck!!!!

  2. Willpower helps. So does planning out your week, day by day and sticking to it. Be sure to plan for breaks and rewards. Do you have a dog? When you get bogged down or bored, walk your dog and clear your head. It sounds simple, but it helps. Be sure to study things that hold your interest. Lessons that are too easy are dull and will get you in a rut quickly. Good luck!

  3. Perhaps homeschooling isn't really for you, then?

  4. well maybe set a study time everyday for an hour. if you dont want to do it all at the end.

but in reality cramming is the best way for learning. most people dont retain learning over a long period of time. they forget. and restudying for a test you already learned but forgotten is wasteful.

i would say a good schedule for doing some work now, and some later is the best.

  5. well back when i was homeschooled (graduated now) :]

i would wait till the end of the day, week...etc...my mom would eventually get after me after a certain time

but i tried a couple different things to motivate myself...

for example, i made a reward system like get this done THEN i can go play video games, eat the cookies, (lol) etc...

it really didn't work a lot of the time....or it only worked partially...like i got half of this done so i can eat half the cookies....lol (i'm just using cookies as an example)

but you known the thing that finally worked?

just stopped being such a huge procrastinator by nature and got the stuff plain out done and over with.

gotta make yourself have that kind of persona that i'll get "this" done now...not later.

    :]
