  1. put it on evenly while holding like a broom stick or something straight and rubbing it on

  2. I find the best way is to squirt some fairy (dishwashing liquid) neat onto the side that will stick onto the tank and rub it all over with a damp hand. Then carefully lift it onto the tank and use a hard piece of plastic, such as a cd cover to push out any bubbles.

There shouldn't be too many and they'll be easy to remove without risking the backing falling off.

  3. Put it on the same way you would with wallpaper, but without the wallpaper paste

    Hope i helped

  4. Use bluetack then atleast you can pull it off if it is not in the correct position.

  5. Use clear tape, a damp sponge and a ruler.  Cut the background so it is exactly the size of your tank.  Wipe the back of the tank with a damp sponge so that it is just barely damp.  That will help the backing stick a little once you place it.  Then start from the bottom and place the bottom edge of the background against the bottom edge of the tank.  Put the edge of the ruler against the background and slide it up against the background to press it to the tank (if it's a big tank, you can press the ruler from one side to the other instead of bottom to top).  The water on the tank should make it stick to the glass.  Once it's all flat against the tank, quickly tape the edges to the tank before the water dries.
