  1. Teething Gel!

    Helps teething problems

Theres also these cute remedies for babies to help them get to sleep for a long time

But the baby has to go to sleep

You can get nice sprays to spray on your babes pillow

Or I have this stuff were you have a balm to put on your head to promote easy sleeping

Could try giving him a warm bottle before he goes to bed

Or go to a doctors , see if theres anything wrong with him/her

  2. Whisky. Or a good slap. He might not be teething for long anymore. Problem solved.

  3. I'm expecting, but my sister swore on the Happiest Baby on the Block methods.

  4. I'd suggest purchasing a teething ring.  Stick it in the fridge, keeping an extra chilled, and letting him cut his teeth on a cool teether.  You can also purchase teething gel that works wonders.  It's sort of like Oragel for adults and has the same, numbing effect.

Give the little one Motrin for the pain.  (Or Tylenol)  This will help tremendously to alleviate some pain and any temp he may have from teething.  It's perfectly normal for little ones to have a slight temp when teething, so you'd kill two birds with one stone, so to speak.

My mother and grandmother did this for my siblings and I as babies, and I did the same with my babies...boiled onion in water, poured the water off the onions and bottled it, added a little sugar to sweeten it and let them drink it.  It's called onion tea and helps them sleep.  When my babies were really collicky, I boiled onions and gave them the sweetened tea to help them sleep.  Again, we've done this for 5 generations...and probably more than that!!

Babies are also wellknown for picking up on your insecurities and worries, so this may also be an issue.  I know that it's hard to do with a little one that you feel you can't help, but relax a little, Hon.

    God bless you and yours...Always!

  5. You pick them up and hug him till he feels better.

I have a 4 month old with horrible colic, and bowel problems. It isn't fun, he barely sleeps at all. There isn't much else you can do.

  6. Hi,

I think the most important thing to start with is to get your baby into a good sleep routine.  I had massive problems with getting my 4 month old son to sleep.  He would just lie awake and cry for hours, then when he finally went to sleep he would wake every hour or two hours through the night and cry again!  Talk about pulling our hair out .... we were absolutely desperate for sleep!

It was a baby sleep audio program recommended by a friend that finally saved us. We followed the advice and began by creating a baby sleep routine which included bathtime, dimming of the lights, putting James into his crib, final nappy change and then lullabies. We also made recommended changes to his naps during the day and used some of the other recommended techniques. Within two weeks he was sleeping through the night most nights with just the odd night where he would just wake once!

Definitely start by creating a good baby sleep routine though and you could find that solves most of your baby sleep problems.

    Good luck!

  7. sometimes we have to let them cry to teach them how to self sooth if u know u have done all the things he needs and is still not sleeping it wont hurt him to cry it sounds mean but he will learn to sleep and u will feel better

  8. If you think he's teething use tylenol at night.
