  1. Don't put the dog in the car.

  2. try small dose of dramamine (moyion sickness pills)  i gave one to my cat when we moved from nc to ga last year.  don't give ur dog food a few hours b4 the trip.  talk to ur vet if all else fails

  3. ooo no! i think u should go to the vet and get some medicine prescribed for him. @_@ good luck~

  4. open your car window and allow the dog to hang its head out...it helped our dog

  5. Try not giving him food about an hour or two before going on a car ride.

Try to make sure that he is still and laying down during the ride as well. Don't let him bounce around the car (may be difficult, I know. My Pit is always extremely excited to be going on a car ride anywhere!)

If you have to take frequent trips and it is still an issue, talk to your vet about it and they may be able to prescribe something for him.

  6. dontgive a dog dremamine!!! never ever give dog human medacine!! i know this because my dog gets really bad car sickness (my little spaniel) so bad he thorough up on me! me having emitophobia (fear of throw up!) any way what we do put the dog in the front of the car  (this always helps with my dog!) and if this dosn't help try this. i know it sounds cruel but don't feed him in the morning then he can't throw up because he has nothing to throw up! and if you are going to the kennel just tell the employee to feed your dog. i promise this helps because my dog has baaaaaaaad car sickness still and we put my dog in the front and he is fine the whole ride. NEVER EVER GIVE YOUR DOG HUMAN MEDACINE!! IT CAN MAKE YOUR DOG WORSE TRUST ME I KNOW!

    hope this helps X

  7. There are some holistic remedies you can try: put a little peppermint (in their water) or give him catnip or ginger before you take him in the car. I haven't tried any of these personally, but they had a segment about holistic pet treatments on the Morning Show w/ Mike & Juliet last week. There should be more info on their website if you'd like to check it out.
