I am finally going to start to eat healthy on Friday, but my problem will be learning how to be patient and staying commiteed to It. how do I do that? Because If I stay eating the way that I do, something Is really going to happen to me!

  1. try solving the problem you have that makes you eat uncontrollably or "eating the stress away". that doesn't solve your problem...I think. It only adds to it. Why not seek counseling, you could benefit from it maybe. Also, why start friday? Try today. Also, you don't have to go cold turkey unless it's really bad ( your situation). Start small and go from there.

  2. Ok .. first of all .. calm down ...

Secondly ... You have to be willing to actually stop it

    how to do it?

Eat lots of fruits and veggies, so they take the place of the junk food (partially) ... drink more water (lot of water) .. (wonderful for the skin too) .. drinking more water before any meal will reduce the amounts you take on it ..

plus I recommend you to exercise and have some fun doing it .. visit this blog http://flat-stomach-tummy.blogspot.com you'll find lots of information and tips and articles about food and calories (look into the previous posts) .. and you'll find lots of exercises you can do at home to help you get fit and more healthy

    good luck

  3. the best way to stay committed to it is to get someone else involved with it. someone to make sure your doing it right.

  4. How About This:

FAT GIRL! STOP EATING ALL THAT DISGUSTING JUNK FOOD! DONT YOU FEEL YOUR ARTERIES CLOG EVERYTIM YOU SWALLOW THOSE SALTY FRIES? DONT YOU FEEL YOUR HEART BURN FROM EATING THOSE FAT INFESTED SNACKS?!?!

DONT YOU WANT THE FEELING OF BEING HEALTHY? NOT PANTING AFTER A QUICK JOG LIKE YOU JUST RAN 2 MILES? DONT YOU WANT MORE ENERGY TO HANG WITH YOUR FRIENDS, YOUR BOYFRIEND. THE MORE ENERGY A GIRL HAS THE MORE FUN SHE IS...... =)

  5. I would set smaller goals, don't tell yourself your going to only eat healthy food right away. This is an unrealistic goal and you will probably relapse, instead take small steps in eliminating the toxic foods from your system. The first week you can eliminate Fast Food, the Second week you can cut back on sugar, the third week you can cut back on unhealthy snacks like chips and stuff, and so on and so forth until your daily eating plan becomes a lot better for you. Give yourself time, and also allow yourself to indulge from time to time as a reward. I think it's great that your committed to getting more healthy! Every time you want something bad for you, just remind yourself of bad you will feel after you put that junk in your body, and focus on your ultimate goal of feeling better about yourself and liking the way you look :)

  6. i dont want you or anybody to go through what i have gone through since 2002.  i use to wiegh 469 lbs.  i am only 27.  i have had 53 surgeies, been in 2 nursing homes, been on life support, had a stroke, and im in a wheelchair cause i was so big.  i wiegh 132 now.  your health is more important than junk food or fast food.  i hope this helps.

  7. Hello,

Chill out!  You can not cross over to another extreme.  Instead of eating your junk food, eat veggies, fruits, proteins, and grains.  Make sure to work out a lot.

    Good luck!

  8. A good trick that a friend of mine shared with me is to only shop the outer walls of the grocery store.  Stay out of the middle aisles where the processed foods are and stick to veggies, fruit, dairy and meat areas.  Believe it or not, it works (also makes grocery shopping a lot faster).

Another thing I do is try to avoid the grocery store as much as possible.  Buy fruits and veggies at farmer's markets if you can, and make 1 trip/month to the grocery store to get meat (freeze it).

I never carry cash or a checkcard, so that is a natural deterrant to stopping by a fast food joint or picking up a candy bar somewhere.  I put everything on a credit card and pay it off at the end of the month.  I refuse to charge less than $10 at a time, so that stops the snacking at the gas stations or swinging through the drive-thru at McD's.
