  1. Sit up front. Keep a window open. Take sea sick pills. Play 'I spy' or similar to keep occupied. Stop and walk about a bit if you can. I grew out of it. You will find when you drive yourself it disappears, so concentration does help.

  2. Keep yourself well hydrated, eat fruits instead of fried snacks, This has always helped me in 9 - 12 hrs travel, and also stretch.

  3. There are wristbands that have magnets in them, I think they work through preassure points. I haven't tried it myself, but compared to the side affects of some travel medications - it could be worth try.

  4. You did not specify whether you would be flying, driving or going by sea. Although the basic cause is much the same the remedy is easier if you are able to see where you are going.

The cause of travel sickness is a conflict between the balancing fluid in the ears and the evidence offered by the eyes to the brain.

If you can actually see the horizon line, then the evidence of both inputs to the brain will agree and you won't be ill. On a ship, stay on deck and check out the horizon from time to time. In a plane, sit in the window seat and look out of the window at the cloud formations, they are based on levels. If in a car, keep looking at the road or the landscape ahead of you. Denying your brain evidence of levels is the major cause of the sickness. Hope this is helpful.

  5. There are lots of remedies out there from pills to wristbands. Try a few and see which works best for you.

  6. they do tablets to prevent travel sickness called sea legs

    good luck
