  1. Use batting gloves or do what Jorge Posada, Moises Alou and other Latino players do.  They believe peeing on their hands will toughen up the skin.

  2. stop squeezing the handle of the bat..there is no need, no matter how bad a bat grip is that you should be getting blisters from it..all that means is you got too comfortable with your old bat  grip, which compensated for your tighter hand grip..loosen up on your grip and the blisters will stop.

  3. Wear batting gloves.

  4. Aside from wearing batting gloves you can regrip the bat with a softer grip.  You can get grip at your local sporting good store and if you don't know how to do it yourself they should have someone there to do it for you.

  5. batting gloves.....

  6. Batting gloves would help, but if you don't want to wear them, then you could try taping your hands.

  7. You must be gripping the bat too tight.  Get a firm hit but don't get white knuckles.  Worst comes to worst, just use the batting gloves.

  8. putting dirt or brick dust or something on your hands before or batting gloves

  9. Either tough it out until you get the callouses on your hands (best thing in the long run), tape up your hands where the blisters are, or loosen up your grip a little. It's usually not the bat's grip its the hitter's way of holding it.

  10. If you can tough it out, your hands will eventually develop callouses in the places where the new bat is irritating them.  Not fun, but if you want to avoid the batting gloves, give your skin time to do its thing.
