How do i stop looking like chinese? (This is because im not chinese and im worried.)?

Im Vietnamese, but people also say that i look a few other countries. However, im mostly mistakened for being Chinese. Is there anyway of changing this? Even though the two countries are quite similar?

In Japan,I used to be mistaken for an american (shudder).I took to wearing the Union Flag on my clothing,that worked for a while until the flag became a popular fashion accessory.I then had a T shirt printed with,"I am NOT american" front and back.Maybe you could do something along those lines.

Well u can't....  The japanse can look like chinese and so does the koreans too.

You know why u look chinese is because ur ancestor were from china. You see Vietnamese are split into two kind of race which are the orginal southeast asian look( thai, cambodian, indonesian, malaysian) and the other are belong to Chinese side which is YOU.

Make your skin to be more darker, using the big eyeliner. so ppl will say u are not chinese but probably Indians.

I don't think there's any way you can change that.

Where I'm from when someone sees an asian person

they automatically start thinking chinese. If it

bothers you just ignore them or politely correct

them. I'm sure people don't say it to offend you.

People have the worst judgement. Some people think all asians look Chinese.
