How do i stop mozilla firefox from predicting what site i want to visit?

I just upgraded my firefox and now it keeps prediciting what i want site i want to visit. I always delete my browsing history and i regulary use ccleaner.At first i thought it was bringing up sites from my bookmarks but its not...and some of these sites i havent visted in AGES. Please tell me how to stop this. I have tried going to Tools, Options, Privacy, History and making sure the box is unselected next to Remember what i enter in forms and in the search bar but its still doing in!

  1. does every time you press a letter for example you press a then a drop down box appears showing something like armorgames.com then when it does appear just point at the things on the cache and press del or delete


  2. This feature is called the Awesome Bar, get a plug in called the oldbar to turn that feature off.

  3. tools /options/privacy/private data:settings

    and clean the auto complete data..

    You can only do that if you visit the web site and click in the field to open the drop down list. Highlight, but do not click, the item that you want to remove and press the Delete key. also
