How do i stop my cockatiel from being noisy?

My cockatiels are very noisy especially in the early in the morning. I have a female and a male and the male is really noisy. At around 7-8am it will make loud noises. It gets lots of attention and playtimes throughout the day. There are many toys in the the big cage it lives in. what can i do to make it quite??

Most birds are noisy at one time or another.  Male cockatiels love to sing and vocalize, there's really nothing  you can do about that.  If he's waking you up too early, you can cover the cage at night and uncover in the morning after you wake up.

It's in a birds nature to be vocal. I strongly suggest you re-homing your cockatiel if you cannot handle a birds noise. My birds wake me up every morning around 6-6:30 am. It is something I have grown used to because I love them!!!!

These types of birds vocalize once or twice a day.  It's their nature and has nothing to do with being bored or not having enough toys.  I have a cockatiel and an amazon - believe me the cockatiel isn't half as loud as an amazon when vocalizing!

That's one of the things we deal with when we have birds as pets.

thats normal for all birds when they wake up they vocalize and when there about to go to sleep
