  1. See if you can switch to a different brand of contact lenses. That's what I had to do. Also, they might not be fitting you correctly. You can go back to your optometrist to see if they're the right measurements for your eye. Also, if you're looking at a computer for a lot of the day, it's good to look away every few minutes to give your eyes a break.

  2. I had that exact problem!!!!! Ok go to your eye doctor/place and tell them whats happening. They should give you a different size of contact. Next, change your solution. After a few hours, my contacts were driving me carzy, my eyelid kept pulling them up, and they were like burning, no eye drops help. I had to switch twice before i found one that helped. First I was using Complete, then I switched to Renu now im using Alcon Replenish. This has made a HUGE difference!!!!

  3. That needs a consultation:

You may need a different fitting of contacts, or if a steeper (tighter) fit is not available in what you have at present, a different brand.

But other possibilities include cleaning problems resulting in  a lens that's easy to grab, where finding better cleaning fluids is the answer,

or an allergic reaction under the upper lid (often giant papillary conjunctivitis)  making the lid rough and better at grabbing the lens.  A break from contact lenses may be required, or anti-allergy drops, better cleaning regime, or a different brand of lenses.

It's a simple symptom, but not a trivial problem disentagling the possible causes.

  4. Take out your contact lens and make sure its not inside out!

  5. Most likely, you have a condition known as GPC (giant papillary conjunctivitis).  These are rubbery bumps on the back of the upper eyelid.   They are a form of allergey. The bumps grab hold of the lens as it dries out in your eye and drags it up everytime you blink.  You need to see your eye doctor about treatment.

Of course, it could just be a poor fitting lens, but my  money is on the former....
