How do i stop my internet from "jumping"?

Every time i get on any search engine and search for a website....the computer, or internet will automatically "jump" me to somewhere i don't wanna go...so i type in the address instead and it does the same thing...THIS IS HIGHLY ANNOYING!!!!!!!!! PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!

Sounds like you have spyware on your computer a quick free download of ad-aware is what you need. what spyware does is it watches the web site you go to and it spams your interface causing your computer to appear like it has a mind of its own. this is a problem for so many but with a program like ad-aware you can get these little pest out of your system. once you get it run it a couple of times then once a month to make sure you don't pick up another bug. it works well and i personally been using it for about 4 years.
