  1. You need to clear or disable Auto Complete. This saves all previous searches in your search bar. Here's how to fix the problem:

For Internet Explorer: Click on Tools. Then Internet Options. Click on Content and then Auto Complete. Then click on Clear Forms. This will erase your search history. If you don't want things showing up again in your search history then deselect the Auto Complete options at the top. Be sure to select apply or ok at the bottom.

  2. If you have vista, click on tools, delete browsing history. If you have older versions click on tools, internet options.

  3. Click the word "Tools" at the top of your internet page and then "Options" or "Internet Options" depending on Firefox or Internet Explorer.

If you have Firefox, go to the section that says "Privacy" and uncheck the box that records what you type in searchboxes.

For Internet Explorer, I think it may work if you go to the "General" section and clear the History every once and a while.
