  1. control yourself dude

  2. dont talk.

    :]

    lol j/k.

umm. replace it with another word. or tie a string around your wrist.. a bright color and everytime you see it remind yourself not to say dude.

thats what i did when i quit cussing.

it takes a week or 2.. but breaking any habbit would..

    :]

  3. Stop saying it without saying it.

  4. I used to day dude all the time too. You can simply ask your friends to remind you to stop saying dude and you can also tell your family.  But it's okay to say dude every once in a while.

  5. replace it by "buddy" for example...

  6. im from CA so thats like saying how to stop saying "Like" (although its not as bad in CA as people think it is or as movies make it) i guess try to catch yourself saying it or have someone catch you saying it. trust me it gets really annoying to have someone point that out for you and eventually you'll get tired of hearing them correct you and you'll try to stop.

    good luck!

  7. why would you wanna stop saying dude, are you trying to get all professional on us? and please GOD Dont say buddy

  8. Have one of your friends start counting out loud *and* visibly on their fingers each time you say it.  It'll annoy you so badly that you'll be compelled to stop.  (E.G., You say "dude," they say "one" and put up a finger).

Either that or go with the anti-smoking device-- a rubber band around your wrist that you can snap every time you say it.  I honestly think being annoyed to death works better though.

    Good luck, dude.  ;)

  9. replace it with the scouser sayin 'laaaa'

get's on peoples nerves ded bad haha

    x

  10. replace it with a less annoying and addictive noun or pinch yourself every time you say it so you associate it with bad and painful stuff.
