  1. Eveyone has an answer but the real truth to stop slicing is to put Vaseline on your clubface . Golf ball will go straight. ( by the way it is illegal to use in a tournament but when playing with your pals it works great)

  2. Go to a golf professional who will analyze your swing and give you the proper information. Too many try to make a complete changeover in the swing which leads to frustration with little or no improvement.

  3. go to the driving range and tweak your grip a little. i also read one of nicklaus' books and fixed my slice. i used to have a POWER fade.

  4. I can't believe some of these answers.  A slice has nothing to do with your grip.  Your grip may not be correct but it has nothing to do with why you are slicing with your driver.

You are slicing because you are coming over the top at the beginning of your downswing.  This means you are allowing your hands, at the beginning of your downswing, to move away, or out, from your body.  At this point you are not "on plane" which is the correct terminology for this.  At address make sure 60% of your weight is on your front foot, not the back foot which has been commonly taught for years and turn with your shoulders, not your arms until you feel your weight over the right half of your right foot.  Bring your hands down on the same line you took them back on and think of swinging at 75% of your normal speed.  I can also recommend buying an "Inside Approach" golf aid because it sure worked for me in fixing my slice.

  5. Turn your club, in 10° increments, away from peripindicular to the line of sight, to hole.

Don't change your swing.  Just change the angle.

  6. without seeing your swing it is hard to say what is the true cause of it...I would suggest taking a slightly strong grip..that is moving your left hand a little more to the right when you take your grip, check your alignment, and try to square the clubhead to the ball at impact are just a few tips that I can give you as well maybe seeking a lesson or two from a PGA instructor, that certinaly has helped my game a great deal.

  7. Try hooking or drawing the ball.

  8. A simple grip change should most likely help out your slice - if your right handed, move your left hand more underneath your right hand.  Turn that left hand as far to the right as you can. Hope that makes sense, but this is the simple trick that I use when I find myself slicing it.

  9. slow down, and roll your wrists through impact a little more

  10. i also had the same problem. i fixed it by moving my hands away from my body

  11. Take up bowling.

  12. close the face of your club before you start your swing
