How do i stop the google bar dropping down all my searches?

Search in Google itself for something like "delete searh history".

delete it

click thr pull downarrow beside the google search box and click "clear search history"

if you don want to see your search words matches poping down from google search box you have to turn-off the feature of auto-complete or your browser

click tools>internet options>"contents" tab

click "auto-complete"  at the lower region of dialog

now uncheck all options in the next dialog under "use auto complete for"

click "ok" and "apply"

now see if your google search still poping down,perhaps not.
