  1. pull them out .then cover soil with bark mulch this will stop them coming back it also looks nice

  2. That's a million dollar question or a answer to that problem would worth a million , I'm afraid it's down to bend your back and do some weeding by hand, unless if you do not have any flowers growing you could just spray weed killer unless you have pets or young children running about. Weeding by hand is the best way, once they are out they don't come back. The thing to remember one years seeds is seven years weeds so you can look forward to weeding regularly, but if you get rid of this years weeds it means less weeds in the future. But if the truth be told weed seeds will travel by air and by birds droppings, so I'm afraid it is going to be a constant battle. Best look at it as free exercise.

I have been in my house for more than thirty years and a keen gardener but I still fight with the weeds  so you are not alone, however it helps to keep me fit at almost seventy.

  3. god ur a weirdo.

  4. Boarders are people who live in your house. If they have weeds growing in them they're in big trouble. Perhaps you meant borders

  5. Try pulling them out but if you can't get the roots out they will just grow back.  You can try Round Up weed killer or another spray that will kill the whole plant and keep it from coming back.  Then you can lay down landscaping fabric or black plastic and cover it with mulch which will make removing the weeds easier in the future.

  6. I agree with Alex, who says weeds are just a part of the process. I have mulch in my flower beds, but the weeds and grass still manage to push through.

In one of my beds, grass started growing at the edges. I used a piece of cardboard as a shield to protect the flowers, and sprayed Roundup directly on the unwanted weeds and grass. Unfortunately, it's something that will have to be repeated again and again as new growth appears.

Some people put down that plastic material before they plant, then just dig a hole through it for the plants and flowers. It is supposed to be a good protector against weeds, but I've never used it.

I either pull them up by hand, or spritz a little Roundup here and there.

    Good Luck.
