I'm a freshman on my schools JV tennis team and as of this year I've barely pickd up a raquet before but I'm improving and my forehand and backhand are finally getting consistent

I use a fairly light raquet so when I hit my forehand it doesn't have much power so I'm trying to lear how to add that myself and still keeping it in control

do I just have to keep hitting off of a wall till I could control my arm strength?

any advice o give to improve the power of my forehand

  1. Go to the gym and do some relevant exercise to strengthen your right forearm and the muscles on your right arm. Then, you also need to practice a lot on the areas of your play that you consider to be weak. Plug all the weaknesses as far as you can through persistent practice and also take some expert advice from your peers and your coach.

  2. YEA. go to ***** and buy this device. the device is a tennis ball attached to a string which is attached to a base. it's like 10 - 20 dollars. you can do it anywhere, driveway, school, etc. anyway.. i used it and now i'm 2 in the state. it helps. it takes a while to get use to but once you get it going u can never stop :)
