  1. Strengthen your abdominals.  The greater your core strength the better your lower back is supported.

  2. They sell this rubber bands that are great. My husband uses them and he has a disk destroyed.

Ask  the chiropractioner where they sell them. Great and easy on the back you only need a few minutes a day.

  3. Two years ago I was having terrible back pain.  It hurt somethin awful whenever I was standing or walking.  I could only lay on my right side, laying on my back or my left side was extremely painful.

I went to the doctor multiple times, he told me I have arthritis in my spine and that I needed to start pain management.  He told me this was something I'd just have to live with for the rest of my life.  I wasn't willing to accept that so I started looking into back rehab options.  I found that the exercise ball was mentioned by many as a way to rehab your back without putting to much stress on it.

I bought one and started doing small stretches and easy exercises on it.  After one, 20 min session my back pain was gone!!!  It sounds unbelieveable but I swear it's the truth.  I continue to work out on the ball three times a week for about 30 min and I feel great.  It really strengthens your core and builds the muscles that support your back.
