  1. l**k the fur like real bears do. penguins do that too.

  2. ~~Use a gentle bar soap (like Dove) or even a small amount of baby shampoo in a bowl of water. Dip a clean cloth in your mixture and scrub away just as you would do on your own skin. Take another clean cloth and dampen it and rinse the animal with clear water. You can blow dry it to make it fluffy and soft again, or just let it air dry. They come out nice and clean and smell really good again!~~

  3. The teddy bear can tied into a pillow case and washed in the washer on cold water and put into the dryer on low.  The talking penguin will have to be surface washed or you will ruin his "talking".  Mix up a solution of your laundry detergent and take a scrub brush to him.  Don't overwet the critter.  Once you get it as clean as you are probably going to able to get it, take a damp rag and rub it over the surface to help rinse out the soap.  Then let it dry, sitting it in front of a fan will help it dry faster.

  4. The same way you surface wash your kids. take warm water and a soapy flannel and rub vigorously. Just don't use too much water.

  5. Depending on what they are stuffed with I would trow them into the washing machine in a laundry net and wash on cold .

For the penguin use a soft brush and some upholstery shampoo like Shout .
