How do i surprise people with losing weight and wearing make up?

so i just fell out of massive depression and i need to get back on track. i've gained a lot of weight during that year or so. i am a junior in highschool...and i want to look my best. I was depressed because i loved a guy who didn't return that affection. i want him to feel sorry for making me feel so bad. i want to be hot...im dieting healthily and working out. i want to come in this school year looking simple. but then i want to surprise everyone by losing 30 pounds in 3-4 months. i want people to feel so bad for making fun of me....what should i do? why does it hurt so much? i feel ugly all the time---help, please!

  1. You're doing great by dieting and exercising. Keep at it, don't give up. And  treat yourself to some new clothes and buy some make up. I lost a lot of weight my junior year and felt awesome. I noticed though that a lot of people would comment on my weight loss behind my back, but not really in front of me. I felt great though, so I didn't need their comments to make me happy. But good luck- you can definitely do it. It's good to hear that you're getting back on track.


  2. ummm whats the question lol. you wrote to much that it sometimes loses people.

    well your already working out and stuff. seventeen magazine has the best workout sections you can do. keep eating healthy...

    make up-eye liner(plum and black are good), black mascara,lip gloss(pink/nude) blush,cover up (if you need it)

    maybe get a good haircut. i know the days when i get my hair done i feel like powerful and s**y or something lol....good boost.

It's good that you are channeling your energy into something that's healthier than being depressed all the time-- just be careful not to overdo it.  This is for you, not for them.  Remember that success is the best revenge.  But you decide what success is.  They have won the battle if you go by their standards.

    Dieting and exercising are healthy things to do, keep up with it and you'll be fine.

    Try a new hairstyle.  Find one that you like and that is unique to you.  Is your hair naturally straight?  Try setting it in rollers before you go to bed.  Is it curly?  Try straightening it or try some up dos.  What about layers?  Bangs(fringe)?  If you talk to your hairdresser, they can help.  Just do something that you like and looks good on you.  A new hairstyle can help a lot.

    Makeup... um.  Try playing with it a little.  A little eyeliner and mascara maybe some lip gloss.  You don't want to become dependent on makeup for your self confidence.  Eyeliner can go a long way to enhancing your eyes.

    Do you have glasses?  Try a different style of frames.  Find a pair that you think are fun or look best on you.  Or maybe even contacts.

    Having confidence is possibly the first thing people will notice and be impressed by.  Just start faking it.  By faking it, you will trick your brain into being confident.  To fake it, try these two things: smiling and standing up straight.  If you are uncomfortable with your smile you can try teeth whiteners(don't get the gel kind, get the strips, and be careful not to go overboard).  You know what they say, 'never frown because you never know who's falling in love with your smile'.  And proper posture looks confident and makes you look thinner.

    Try to find yourself, not conform to a style.  Good luck and remember to have fun with it, that this is for you.

  4. Just keep on track with your diet and exercise and then once you start losing some weight, start buying a few cute things for your wardrobe and maybe wearing some mascara and eye shadow. Once you have achieved your goal weight, make sure you have some money saved up to go on a big shopping spree and get lots of cute clothes! Then go get your hair done and have a MAC consulation so you are looking fierce in every way! Good luck, make that jerk sorry! :)

  5. It's great that you've decided to lose weight by eating healthily and by exercising.  You should leave thee guy in the past. He is not worth it.  Don't worry about making the teasers feel bad even though they should feel regret for what they did. You're beautiful and you should focus on being the best you can be for yourself and not for anyone else.

  6. 1] self image is about your inside, as well as your outside.

    2] self worth can be improved by any accomplishment, including working out, or losing weight.

    3] eat well - minimum servings per day:

    2 lean proteins

    3 whole grain breads, cereal, rice, and pasta

    2 low fat dairy

    3 veggies

    2 fruit

    4] avoid all fried, fast, and junk foods

    5] drink 1/2 gallon of water a day

    6] take a good multivitamin with minerals daily

    7] do 30 minutes of aerobic exercise, six days a week to lose weight, three days to maintain weight

    8] add some light weights three days a week - increased muscle increases metabolism, and tones body!

    9] alternate with three days of 3 sets each of 10 reps of pushups, pullups, situps, obliques, and crunches

    Makeup: these seem to make most difference

    1] mascara - brow shade, or a few shades darker than hair

    2] blush - pink, coral, or peach

    3] lip color - pink, coral, peach

  7. you need to work your a s s off, if you really want it, you will work harder, maybe get a personal trainer to really push you!

    but its definitely possible to lose 30 pounds in 3 or 4 months. you can lose 10 pounds a month, so you know you are on track, weigh your self and keep track of how much you are losing each week.(or day, however you want to do it)

    yeah as i said before you should probably get a trainer, because that will be your best to getting thinner, because you dont know how to work out, you might end up building muscle and not just losing fat, causing you to weigh more, and also dont work out everyday, your not supposed to, your supposed to let your muscles regrow everyday because when you exercise your muscles get torn each time, which sounds painful, but you dont feel a thing! well except for the first week or so, you will feel sore, but thats a small price to pay for thinness!

    so work out everyday and there are no excuses, if you really want to be thin, you will do it

    you have to push yourself.

    as for the makeup part, you can ask your mom how to apply it.

    you should start wearing it now though, you need to experiment and learn how to get better at applying it before school starts.

    or if you want professional advice, go to your local sephora (or mac, if you like, mac is a little more pricey then some of the things at sephora, but they are both helpful)

    so i would recommend going to sephora first because they have so many different makeup brands.

    and they will tell you EVERYTHING you need to know about makeup.

    you just have to not be afraid to ask! its their job to do that, so if you are taking a long time asking them questions, which most likely you will, dont worry about it, because they are there to do just that.

    but you should start off wearing these:

    eye liner

    mascara

    concealor and powder (if you have fairly good skin, you might just get away with wearing concealor, the powder is just to keep the concealor from going away throughout the day and to keep your face shine free)

    and then when you get better with those things you can try out:

    eyeshadow (MAC is the best!, in my opinion)

    liquid eyeliner if you prefer it, but i never liked it.

    concealor, foundation , powder and then blush. if you want a little color on your cheeks

    and just experiment a lot with your makeup when your at home! bring out your greatest qualities.

    you can put a lot of makeup on and then try experimenting with a little bit, mix it up and learn what makes you look great!

  8. You should first start feeling more confident in yourself.  Think, the guy that loved you chose to be with you for a reason.

    If you want to lose weight, you should try to keep an eye out when you are watching commercials or infomercials.  There are many commercials about losing weight/dieting options.  Such as the Jenny Craig program, or Nutrisystem.  While eating the right foods, try to get used to exercising, or try getting into a particular athletic hobby such as tennis or soccer.

    Keep your friends near you when you are trying to get him to notice you and get him jealous.  It may give you more attention.  You can try constant flirting with another guy (maybe his friend, or just a random person), near him, to make him see what he's missing out on.

  9. Oh, I kinda know the feeling. But trust me, no matter how much makeup and how "hot" you try to make yourself look- it won't work unless you have self confidence too. If you think you're s**y/pretty then others will believe it too. Your behavior reflects on the kind of person that you are, not what you're trying to be. I know you want to make a comeback and you probably have all the potential in the world- but you have to believe it first, before you try to make others believe you first. I would suggest being yourself, and not being so preoccupied with what people say! In the end, if you truly love yourself and show it- they will all realize it on their own (they will feel bad for the teasing, etc).  

  10. you need to have confidence and be happy with yourself! that will be the best way to show people you've moved on with the past & that you're stronger. Then you can work on losing weight if you need to: but do it for the right reasons, being yourself not to make others jealous. x*x
