I heard you can delete your cookies and it will go away. but I haven&#039;t tried it cause I haven&#039;t had beta yet. you&#039;ll probably have to reopen your browser though.

   Beta what? Could you be a bit more vague please, all those details confuse me. If you refer to the new look of the main Yahoo! page, then I can help.

   Yahoo! is testing a new format on random users. I doubt your &quot;son&quot; had anything to do with the appearance of this new page. It will revert back to the original page in a few days. If you hate it, there should be a link to allow you to give feedback about the new format, tell them all about why you don&#039;t like it.

   You can try deleting your cache, the whole delete the temp files and cookies thing, that may get rid of it briefly for the time being.

   The new page also seems to be offered only for those using Internet Explorer. I have both IE and Firefox on my computer, the new page only opens in IE, with Firefox it is still the same old Yahoo! page.

   Personally I like the new format, I think the layout is better. Besides, it&#039;s only the generic Yahoo! page that&#039;s affected, if you&#039;d have bothered taking the 3 minutes necessary to set up your own &quot;My Yahoo!&quot; page and set it as your home page then you&#039;d have never known anything was different.
