we have had a mice probleme for almost 3 months now. and we just bought some traps to cath them and release them outside.

we caught one mouse underneth the sink a few days ago and let it fre outside, next day we found a mouse dead ! in front of the washing machine downstairs. ( the dog had got to it )

and now today. we found a new born ! same spot. eyes not even opened yet . although it does have fur. .

its a very small mouse .

being an animal lover i dont have the heart to put it out of its misery.

i tried and i couldent stop crying.

ive made the decision to take care of it until it gets big enough to be set outside.

PLZ anything i should know? ive been feeding it warmed homo milk. and keeping it snug in klenex.

plz i dont want to see it die on me.

i wil cry for days.

  1. I had the same experience. I kept finding baby mice in my garage and before my dog could eat them, I scooped them up and decided to try to raise them myself. They didnt have their eyes open either. I researched online and found that it's best to feed them powder kitten formula instead of cow milk. You mix it with warm water and feed them several drops. I fed them with a medicine dropper. I made new formula every feeding (which was every two hrs and then at night I set the alarm and woke up every 3 hrs to feed them). It was a lot of work. I also was told to stimulate their rear with a warm, wet q-tip to help them go p**p and pee. It did seem to help too. Then they went back in a box which was placed on top of a heating pad set at the lowest setting. When their eyes opened, I started placing food in the box for them to try and someone suggested to me that you could use baby food instead of formula to help wean them. As I said, it was a lot of work and if you can't feed it every couple hrs you should call a wildlife rehab center in your area. Otherwise, good luck. I hope yours makes it!

  2. ive been in this situation, only i had a small litter of mice. 2 died, and i took the rest to a wildlife rescue center....im not sure what happened to them, but the lady there said that they usually die if they're really young.

  3. feed it with a bottle Keep it warm In a Blanked or towel but to where it kan still breath, and keep it quiet where its all feed it every hour or two  whatever it will eat. because mom mice constantly feed their baby mice..., but keep it warm! and call a vet and ask them more information... PLease call a vet... please chose as best answer and ill do the same for you so answer one of my questions... ! XD Thanks... Good Luck With your NEw baby mouse!

    Good luck.

  5. newborn mice must be kept warm! you also need to feed them a milk substance witch they get from their mother.  That will be extermly hard to do.  As they get older you nee to handle them often if you plan on keeping them or else their wild intincs will kick in.  If not you only need to take care of them for about three months and then you may realase them

I suggest taking them to a vet's office to see if they can feed them

  6. Well, you should maybe go to your vet for your dog or if that is your dog. That is what I would do.Warm Homo milk should be fine.I would get a cage.If the dog gets it.I love animals to and I would do that.well, you will be in my prays.

                                                                            Best of luck,
