How do i take care of my toads??

I decided I wanted to have a few toads for a while and so i caught 4 and filled a tub outside with water and rocks, and I was planing to let them go before it got cold,but now i want to keep them. So what should I do to keep them alive during winter??? and also, how can u tell the females from the males???

you do know it is illegal right? you cannot keep wild animals or toads as pets. there is a law about it in every state.

I dont know about the winter thing but the females will be smaller than the males.And you can keep toads in the u.s as long as you dont have to many.

Leave the wild toads alone. They are WILD! They should live in the wild! Get toads or frogs from the pet store. And RESEARCH before you get them!
