  1. First use some insect killer ,so that insect like turmite, ant cant disturb your tree, as banana tree reqires more water keep attention on it, keep area about 2mtr x2mtr weed free, You have to put fertilizer depending on the condition of land. It is needed to give support of soil arround the tree when it becomes 4 to 5 month old,1st put compost fertilizer before it,

As banana has good resistance power , there is no take extra care

but watering , fertilising is important.

  2. needs lots of water, manure and potect it from insects and worms..... avoid putting decaying matter as fertilizer becauses it produces worms which is the number one enemy of banana plants

  3. Not sure where you live, but I have 4 of them along my back fence.  I live in hot and muggy Louisiana and they get watered at least 3 days a week from the sprinklers and any rain.  The "bananas" they produce are not very appetizing but they do provide privacy from the morons living behind me.  I never used fertilizer or any plant food for them.  They just grow and prosper on their own.  Maybe your place doesn't get enough rainfall or you have poor soil.

  4. water it daily...for for info googe more...

  5. put it in the full sun, water 3 x a week and throw some banana peels in the soil around the plant.    It will grow and thrive, but for producing fruit that will take about 18 months of warm tropical weather, which not to many ppl here get.  Happy growing!
