How do i take music off of my iPod?

i have a playlist of songs on my iPod that i want to take off and burn onto a cd

well go to itunes and to  take music off, go to music, delete the tracks you dont want then update your ipod, they will be taken off.

if you want to burn them to CD, put them into a playlist, then go to file, and then "burn playlise to Disc, near the bottom.

After you drag them and place them on the playlist and burn the cd, then you can click the song and select delete/recycle bin until the songs are off your list. I have this same dilemma because my ipod doesn't have enough space for all the music I have (only 250 songs) As a result, I have 7 IPOD cds!

This what you should do. Connect ur ipod to the computer. Go to the music tabs on my ipod section. Insert the blank cd. Now just drag and drop or select the songs that u want to burn to ur cd. It should work.

connect to your computer and use itunes. click on the playlist then hit burn cd.

Normally, you use the iTunes application to sync the iPod and then the songs will get deleted from the iPod. Or if you are doing "manual sync", then you need to use iTunes to manually delete the songs from the iPod.

In itunes, you have an icon for the "Library" and - when the ipod is connected - one that matches the ipod.

If you are "manually" syncing songs to the ipod and want to delete one off the ipod, open up the view for the ipod, not the Library, find the song and delete it....

If you are autosyncing songs will be deleted automatically when you connect and sync your ipod.

If you don't know how you are syncing look in the preferences for the ipod.
